We all love comfort food. However, we usually make the same foods over and over again. For example, macaroni and cheese, chicken soup, chili, casseroles, and fried chicken just to name a few. All good options, but how about trying something new! We recently made Haluski, which is a Polish and Slovakian cuisine. This dish is usually made with soft noodles or dumplings so it’s your choice which you would like to use! We used soft noodles in our recipe below.
This recipe isn’t complicated, which makes it a great option for busy weeknights. It is also a fun opportunity to try something you may have never had before. We chose to use kielbasa in the dish we made, but bacon is also a great alternative to add to Haluski!
Garrett Valley Farms Smoked Polska Kielbasa is all natural, fully-cooked, gluten free, and contains 9g of protein. We also offer a turkey kielbasa version for a leaner take on the classic flavor.
